Many progressives are simple church going family oriented people. We are not threatened by people not like us; we welcome them. We are threatened by climate change and we must unite in spirit and action. I think many of my fellow Forgottonians are realizing climate change and Trump economic bombs are undermining their lives. Maybe an awakening in some of the Red regions can blossom. I am a United Methodist. Our denomination is in turmoil over doctrine about God’s people, such as Pete Buttigieg. We really need those of you, sometimes called the nones, to join us of the Christian left in Spiritual unity. Only in unity we can cross this dangerous route and save of planet. It must be done whether you believe in God the creator or the whim of a quark. You will find people who will work in common Spirit in these churches — Reconciling Congregations of the United Methodist Church Churches are far better organized than most Indivisible Groups; we should work in common cause.
Some of us refuse to watch an organization of good torn assunder.
It will be a rare experience for me to be in a land of Spirits of ancient peoples and not in a church on Easter. I think it will be rewarding. Now, off to preparing for this out of blue, trek into the unknown. There will be reflections and some photos (not pro level) — the Spirit experienced is not contained within a photograph.
