The more clearly I see them the more muddled they sound. Apparently pundits and birther nuts do not understand simple concepts, like Hawaii is a state and Kenya is an African country. (great coffee from Kenya) I know Americans are geographically challenged, but facts are facts. Hawaii was a state in 1961, newspaper accounts can’t retroactively be changed. This is just one of the crazier, provably false in about ten minutes theories that continues to circulate. Prominent people still refuse to state the obvious; this is embarrassing. We have survived times of great irrationalism before and I am sure we will again.
So I can rest assured we can survive all the hyperbolic secessionist rhetoric like we did in 1860; oh that was messy wasn’t it.

I could spend more time following celebrity sex scandals, although expressing any sympathy or understanding for the men in these scandals can endanger your marriage. I find it better just to lose myself in civil war histories, Civ 4 (it runs on my Mac), and football; all of which may threaten my marriage, as well. So I guess you will just have to follow my status on Facebook to see if I can survive all these threats to my marriage.
